The Burmese python is a large non-venomous constrictor. It is a highly invasive species in Florida, USA. It is one of the largest snakes in the world. The largest Burmese python captured in Florida measured over 19 ft. Burmese pythons in America are found primarily in and around the Everglades ecosystem in South Florida where the snake represents a threat to native wildlife.
